Drug and Alcohol Awareness
Texas' Drug and Alcohol Driving Awareness Program was originally developed by to teach drivers how alcohol and drugs affect a person's body and mind, how they affect driving, and the legal and societal consequences of drinking (or using drugs) and driving. The popular drug and alcohol driving awareness program has been a staple of the Texas court system for several years, as judges and courts have required completion of the course for various types of drug and alcohol related offenses. Most Texas drivers are eligible to receive an automobile insurance discount for completing a State-approved drug and alcohol driving awareness program such as the one offered at our school. Check with your auto insurance carrier to find out if you too are eligible for the discount.
